The Property Ombudsman Launches Earlybird Tickets for its 2020 ‘Raising Standards’ Conference

Following feedback from this year’s conference, The Property Ombudsman (TPO) has announced that its 2020 conference, taking place on 18 June at The National Conference Centre in Solihull, will have a strong focus on legislative change, technical advice and best practice guidance. Earlybird tickets are available from today until 31 January 2020. Highlights of TPO’s 2020 ‘Raising Standards’ Conference are:
  • Double the number of ‘Ombudsman’ workshops with different case studies for each session
  • Expanded Agent Advice Area offering one-to-one clinics
  • Sector and legislative updates from leading industry professionals
  • An expert panel discussing the impact of changes on the sector
  • 4 Hours CPD (Continuous Professional Development)
Ombudsman Katrine Sporle comments: “As Lord Richard Best said at our last conference, regulation is coming and the future success of agents will be down to their own adoption of the new regulations. We want to help agents to be informed, educated, prepared and compliant, so over the next eight months we will be building our conference programme around professional practice and potential changes which will impact the sector.”
